Jeanologia will present at Denim by PV its new technology:” Dynamic Laser & Eco”

The Spanish company is world leader in the development of sustainable technologies for garment finishing, winner of WSGN Fashion award for best sustainable design team in the world

Jeanologia will present at Denim by PV its new technology:” Dynamic Laser & Eco” that uses laser and ozone during first stages of production.

  • The Laser Dynamic and G2 Dynamic machines developed by the Spanish company transfer sustainable technologies to continuous fabric, saving water, energy and chemicals.

  • Jeanologia collaborates with Denim by Premiere Vision in creating its vintage space, with the exhibition “TRUTH & LIGHT”   featuring authentic vintage garments and thereof clones developed with technology of the company.

Barcelona (Spain) .- The Spanish company Jeanologia  specialized in the development of sustainable technologies for  garments finishing, will present during the textile exhibition Denim by PV Barcelona its new " Laser & Eco Dynamic " technology that applies the laser and ozone  to the previous stages of the manufacturing process.

Over 20 years of experience and the prestigious WGSN Global Fashion Award for best sustainable design team in the world, supports the Jeanologia path, which has positioned itself as a world leader in the development of sustainable technologies for garments finishing.

Currently, the company has gone a step further with its Dynamic project, applying its know-how in the garment finishing to the previous stages of the manufacturing process in particular the continuous fabric.

This technology is designed to treat all types of fabrics, from heavier to lighter, with any structure. It, allows laser engraved on the continuous fabric garments besides aging effects by using ozone.

During the event, which will take place at Fira Montjuïc in Barcelona on 21 and 22 May, Jeanologia in its commercial booth B46 will present the new Laser Dynamic Technology, which uses the laser to engrave authentic standards directly onto the fabric, before the pledge.

Specifically, this technology replaces the printing technique, to laser engraving, thus ensuring the three-dimensionality. In this sense the Dynamic engraving becomes virtual weaving, further providing endless creative possibilities.

Also, will show the G2 Dynamic technology that allows aging onto continuous fabric simply through the use of "air", featuring different wear and tear on the fabric base with "time passed by" effect, which would not be reproducible by applying chemicals on conventional processes.

These two new technologies allow developing creative opportunities endless creating new fabrics with virtual weaving, adding character to basic goods, achieving cloudy, fashion and vintage effects without water or chemicals. Obsolete inventory dynamically transformed into market-right goods!

Jeanologia defines this laser process as "Virtual Weaving"; as stated by Enrique Silla, President Jeanologia "this Dynamic technology will revolutionize the jeanswear industry”

In that vein, he said that "the denim requires a technological and aesthetic change to go from being the king of the most important basic product creation in fashion." To which he added, "This change started with stretch denim, and now will be consolidated with Jeanologia Dynamic technology that means a before and after in the history of denim”

The "Dynamic Laser & Eco” project, in addition to  all the advances arising from the use of ozone and laser offers other benefits for the textile industry.

In this sense, the weavers may participate in a technology that will revolutionize the industry Jeanswear, while brands will benefit from the advantage of starting at the beginning: the production of the fabric.

Jeanologia and Denim by PV Barcelona work together in creating Vintage space  "Truth & Light"

Denim by PV Barcelona, in its first edition, has chosen Jeanologia to create the vintage space area trends with its exhibition TRUTH & LIGHT, illustrating the major advances that have been made with laser technology in recent years towards reaching a pure vintage.

With reference to this exhibition, Enrique Silla said that "at present how to make an authentic and creative garment is through technology. Jeanologia, during its 20 years of experience has researched and introduced new techniques to reach Pure Vintage. "

In order to achieve the creation of a vintage garment in a natural, efficient and sustainable manner, Jeanologia has created tools such as Fabric Core Character to achieve laser vintage effects as the stone, ring, snake and patchiness, the Light Ripper to get damages, and Denim Elements.

TRUTH & LIGHT uses  art,  history  &  fashion  to illustrate  the  major strides  made  in  laser technology in  recent  years.

As in past editions, TRUTH will show AUTHENTIC VINTAGE garments of them collected and officially classified. Garments that date back from different periods of the 20th Century. All and every one of them with a personal story, an individual character forged through the years and usage. A beauty only achieved by the way their owners lived their lives. This is the TRUTH.

On the other hand, LIGHT the laser. Its usage as a design tool makes possible the recreation of the magic of a true vintage garment. The Time Machine that makes a raw garment travel through time and space and reach its exact aged appearance.

This time, the exhibition TRUTH & LIGHT returns to Barcelona where, in 2008, it began the tour around the world, which has led to major fashion cities such as New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Munich or Sao Paulo.
