ENTEMA Continues to Grow Its R & D Activities

ENTEMA which is one of the most important companies in Turkish textile machinery industry continues to produce new technologies with its intensive R&D studies

Entema which started its studies for the textile industry in Çorlu/Tekirdağ in 1992 focuses on the production of cloth dryer. The company also produces new technologies with its R & D studies. Taking into consideration the demand of customers, Entema provides machinery supply to many companies with its 20 years of experience. The company accelerating its works about less energy usage, which is one of the most requested features, diversifies its innovations for softness and unshrinkability, high production capacities, lower maintenance costs, works considering the occupational health as well as environmentally friendly activities. Entema also increases its activities in Turkey, Middle East, North Africa, South America, Asia and Asia Pacific countries.

Saying that the machine, which they put on the market under the trade name Swell Soft, is a world first in terms of operation, Company representative Ömer Gökcan made statements to our magazine about the works of the last period. Gökcan said that the new project is not the same project as dryers,  on the other hand he expressed that this machine has some additional features and it can be used in different sectors.

Saying that the machine operates vertically, Gökcan expressed that the new machines , which provides the production in high quality and capacity with environmentally friendly manner, are quickly accepted on the market. Gökcan, who continued his statements about the project, expressed that the new project Swell Soft was essentially designed for finishing such fabrics as towels and velvets, and that the domestic and foreign patents were taken, and they also profited from the supports of TUBITAK R&D.

Stating that the patented tattoo machines system of the machines provides significant advantages, Gökcan said: '' Our machines can operate both the front and the back of the fabric or by desired one. This process allows the quality and capacity with  the machines produced as classic and it provides this by using much less energy. Saying that the circulation in the machine is heated to the desired temperature according to the requirements of the process and if it is necessary, it can provide steam to the circulation air, Gökcan stated: ''So, our product is dried if it is wet or it is moisturized if it is dry, as a result, we can provide to the this softening process or the different effects can be achieved.  The circulation air simultaneously carries the production residue powder, which beaters in the cabin reveals, to the filters. The automatic dust extraction system, which is optionally produced, boots out of the machine. There is not a cleaning problem, because the machine was designed against the dust. The machine controlled on computer can be used by a single operator.''

The Machine Is Carried From Different Areas Thanks to the Sector

Emphasizing that they exhibited the first prototype machine in 2009 ITM Fair, Gökcan said: '' We thought that our machine can also be used in such sectors as home textile, upholstery fabric, flock, carpets and blankets. Thus, we ensured that the machine can be used in these areas with our R&D studies. We introduced the new model machine to the clients at ITMA/BARCELONA in 2011 and made the pre-trials for the carpet in this fair. Thus, with the ensuing orders, we launched the supply process of the carpet finishing machine as of 2012.

Expressing that they are not experienced in carpet industry for a long time, but they started to gain appreciation from domestic and foreign manufacturers, Gökcan underlined that they did not write the phrase ''carpet'' in the catalogue before proving success. Gökçan stated that, normally, the difficulty of weeding out the powder of the carpet poses a serious problem in the export sector but the new technology of Entema contributed to the solution of this problem. Adding that this new technology has brought a new dimension to the usual carpet quality with softer touches, more vivid colors and more voluminous carpets, Gökcan said that R&D works continue and different versions of Swell Soft will also be offered to the clients in the ensuing periods
